Address Bar Searching - DrPoodle - 05-20-2007 Firefox made searching easier by having the search box at the top, but what about sites that haven't made search addons yet? Well Firefox has a great feature to help with this as well! Go to the search page of the site you want to set this up for (I will be using http://community.mybboard.net/search.php as an example). Right click in the Search box and click "Add a Keyword for this Search". The Add Bookmarks form comes up. In the "Name" box type whatever you want (I used "MyBB"). In the "Keyword" box type a simple keyword that you want to use when searching this site. Make sure it is in lower case other wise it sometimes screws up! I used "mybb". Click "Ok" and open a new tab. Type: mybb {search terms} where the {search terms} are what you want to search for. For example: mybb plugins would search for "plugins". If all goes well you should be taken to the results page! -DrPoodle RE: Address Bar Searching - FirefoxWiz - 05-25-2007 Yup. Good tip, I use that for Google Images.
