Yay! I got Ubuntu installed this afternoon. So far it's pretty cool, but I'm still figuring things out.

a program called beryl, you can find it in the ubuntu repositories and ive given you the command to install it in my above post

Beryl will only work if you have a good video card though, from what I heard...

nah thats a lie, i have some truly terrible graphics cards and ive had no problems. However i suppose i had some rather powerful processors and a decent amount of ram to back it up.
