E-mail - Cool_Guy - 10-24-2006

I tried sending a test E-mail, but it didn't arive. Seems like PHP's Sendmail extention isn't working...

RE: E-mail - FirefoxWiz - 10-27-2006

Is there any fix for it?? :???:

RE: E-mail - FirefoxWiz - 10-27-2006

I asked on the MyBB Community forum. Maybe they'll provide a fix.

RE: E-mail - FirefoxWiz - 10-28-2006

It's not a problem with MyBB, but our host. I opened a Support Ticket, and here's the response:

Support Ticket Wrote:Hello,

You should have a domain hosted (add one in the Hosted Domains section of your web hosting control panel) or register one from the Domain Registration section. You can not create an email account with your free subdomain.
Also be informed that free hosting accounts are restricted to send emails due to security reasons (spam). Any scripts that send emails will not work as well and SMTP is also disabled. Email forwarding will not work either. Our paid hosting plans do not have such restriction.

Best Regards,
Viktor

So, we cannot send any mail from the forum..... :'(

RE: E-mail - Cool_Guy - 10-30-2006

OK, just get the paper route, and start paing for hosting. ;)

RE: E-mail - Christian - 10-30-2006

A paid host might be your only alternative or find another free host that supports the mail function.

Search this site for some free hosts: http://freewht.com/
