I think you should either lower the price, or release a version of it for free. That way, it'll get known.

I'd release a couple free, to some well known boards and then whe a lot of people start wanting it put out a price.

It's not really... "sexy" enough to go for 8$. Looks very simple.
Imho, this should be something like 1$-2$.
