Looking for a new host - MasterZuFu - 05-17-2010

My host just tried to screw me out of $600.00, when I asked for a refund they said I still owed them $84.00 in fees for renewal and cancelation fees. IMHO they should be paying for these because it's their fault everything was renewed to begin with.

So i filed a Better Business Burea complaint against them and I'm looking for a new host.

What's a good hosting site that has low prices and good customer support?

Thanks!

Viefire.com is amazing. I used them to host my forum and the support was quick and helpful.

Justhost.com is insanely cheap... but don't expected the support staff to have any idea what your talking about!

Dreamhost.com - They use an in-house panel, which IMO, is superior to cPanel x1000.

Immortal Hosting - Owned by Kustom from HF.
He is a good friend and his hosting is very good and relatively cheap.

Here is his HF thread: http://www.hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=377122

I chose to go with linode.com. I have a very very good friend who is a security expert who offered to help me setup my site and get it running again from there. So now I've got a dedicated server as well for half the price siteground was offering.

Yeah linode.com is a pretty good one as well like he said above me.

If you're not going to give me the full refund you can expect a complete refusal of the refund and I'm going to make a chargeback for everything, understood?

Hello,

I have further discussed your case with my manager and we will waive your domain name renewal fees as well. Thus the total amount of the refund that we will issue upon your account cancellation will be $543.25.

Please let me know should I proceed with the refund or you prefer to process the refund in parts.

Best Regards,

Natalie
