Digg & StumbleUpon - Eve - 05-12-2010 Can we submit SupportForums threads (of original content) to Digg & StumbleUpon? I am experimenting with forum promoting. RE: Digg & StumbleUpon - Nemmyy - 05-12-2010 That would be a good idea, hopefully Omni approves. RE: Digg & StumbleUpon - Eve - 05-21-2010 Results: The SF thread I submitted to Digg (Top Ten Free AV Software) went unnoticed. I prefer Digg to StumbleUpon since Digg permits promotion while StumbleUpon mildly discourages it. For a forum to use Digg to its advantage, there has to be a campaign to give a submission an early advantage. I can imagine it working for HackForums, since a percentage of 180K members can be mobilized to register with Digg to support HF submissions. If numbers can be recruited for SF, it can also work. |
