first attempt at a siggy - The Observer - 05-05-2010 my first attempt no practice or guides just screw around till i figured it out so lemme know what you think RE: first attempt at a siggy - WhoWanaKnow - 05-05-2010 Use a plane text with opacity about 50%-60% Make it a big smaller (Helps to be smaller, less size looks nice you know) Apart from that i think its ok, but i think the text really over powers it, i cant stop looking at it RE: first attempt at a siggy - The Observer - 05-06-2010 thanks man i will do also i have never even opened ps before just opened and messed around for 5minutes RE: first attempt at a siggy - Fragma - 05-06-2010 Sorry but I really don't like this. - Change the font - Try out different font effects - Work on blending - Decrease the size (I think around 450x150px would suit that signature). - Change the placement of the text Adding some of these things will surely improve it. RE: first attempt at a siggy - The Observer - 05-06-2010 kk will try umm how do i do bleding and wht font effect u suggest RE: first attempt at a siggy - alonalon - 05-06-2010 I like it Very nice bro high level. RE: first attempt at a siggy - Candy™ - 05-06-2010 Very nice but, use a dif txt (: RE: first attempt at a siggy - Fragma - 05-07-2010 Try different smudging brushes & maybe edit them to suit your needs. Use more layers & play around with the layer blending modes. Keep to a certain colour scheme. You should also read up on some tutorials if you get a bit stuck. Hope this helps. RE: first attempt at a siggy - dnsm - 05-07-2010 You must have border also, otherwise I'll rate it 4/10 for being your first one. RE: first attempt at a siggy - Plasma - 05-08-2010 biggest complaints for me are the background and the font..I would look at sig tutorials to look at font tuts if your not gonna be using a render. learn a simple 3d effect or mirror effect and it will look really high end. experiment with blending options and brushes. overall i really do like it but to me the background makes it look bland...Good Job |
