Rate http://eDesignforums.com - tnt996 - 04-25-2010 After alot of additions and updates, i would like to request you to check out and rate eDesignforums.com, I have added lots of fun stuff, and ways to help keep eDesignforums active, The newest edition which is my favorite is, Hosting For Posting, This helps the site stay active, and helps the users by getting free webhosting. Please leave any positive and negative feedback. Thanks Link: http://eDesignforums.com RE: Rate http://eDesignforums.com - Elektrisk - 04-25-2010 The marquee text is annoying. Just center it. I hate having to sit there and wait to see what the message says, as I'm sure others do as well. You really need to work on categorizing your forums more. I see a category named "Off-topic", but the "off-topic" forum is under "Community"? Community should be reserved for rules, feedback, suggestions, introductions, and other such things. Off-topic things like gaming, general chit-chat, music, and so on should go under "Off-topic". Under "Advanced Web Design", you shouldn't have scripting languages and such. That's web development, not design. It's also rather strange that there's a "Q&A" section, and then a tutorials section. What then will be posted in the HTML/CSS section? SEO doesn't belong under "Web Design", imo. More like "Website Construction". Making money also has nothign to do with web design. eDesign offers should go under "Community" imo. And what does Photography have to do with web design? Really, I think you need to prune the categories so only related forums are under that category. Remove the unnecessary ones. "Hosting for posting" doesn't need its own category imo. A simple thread in the Announcements section explaining the rules, guidelines, and so on would be just fine. The design looks nice, although I'd recommend rollovers for the header links. Good luck!
