Which driver? - Treblez - 03-13-2010 ok so I need to d/l a driver for my ati radeon 3470 and this is the page with the latest drivers http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-32bit but which one exactly do i need? also why is it only 52mb? The last ati driver I was using on XP was 117mb from 09/2009 ? ps. Im on win7 now RE: Which driver? - Treblez - 03-14-2010 bump? bump? bump? RE: Which driver? - Treblez - 03-14-2010 ok I installed the 1st one: ATI Catalystâ„¢ 10.2 Suite for Windows 7 (32-bit) but where is it now ? Its not in the context menu, the system tray, the start menu, program files, nowhere ?? Where the hell is it ? RE: Which driver? - 4u111 - 03-14-2010 If you downloaded the first one then it's the display driver not ATI suit. Im sure it's going to be in system files. They usually have an option to download all in one pack but it's just not there. If you want ATI suit count 3 downloads from the top and it's the forth, click on it, and in addition download display driver which is just above it. RE: Which driver? - .D0T' - 04-05-2010 You should be downloading the 10.3 suite for Windows 7 32 bit, found here. This includes the whole pack (display driver, catalyst control suite, WDM driver etc.) It is probably 52mb because it only irons out minor issues. Not all updated drivers have to be of a large size. RE: Which driver? - Deities - 04-05-2010 what Dot said is correct. I was going to post the same but read his post. xD RE: Which driver? - Irelandrulz2 - 04-06-2010 If your on Windows 7 x86 then you need to download the top file. RE: Which driver? - smileyface - 04-08-2010 I suggest you download Device Doctor. It is free and gives free updates. http://www.devicedoctor.com RE: Which driver? - Sam - 04-08-2010 Driver Doctor is okay but if you post me the driver section of a dxdiag then I will gladly help you. RE: Which driver? - smileyface - 04-08-2010 Yes. A dxdiag test will work wonders. Driver Doctor is for lazy people. Like me. |
