I'm looking for the best free chatroom, i want to be able to embed the chatroom code on a basic html page and have admin privileges. I've tried a few, some are better than others. If you know of a really good free one then post it here.

mIRC is far more than a chat platform though.

As for IRC in general. Its simply too outdated man. Go with a flash based chatroom.
Atleast your customers/members will be happier for the experience.

I would use irc and admin an ircd server.
I have +10 years of using irc and ircds.
I have modified irc daemons and irc clients over the years.

Mibbit IRC is pretty good. You can imbed it into a webpage, and connect using other clients (they use their own server).
Thing I like the most about them though, is that the widget is AJAX, and not flash/Java.

meebo. Customizeable, easy use and admin properties. The only one I have used.
