Migrate from 7 of 32bits to 64? I will have a REAL change? - kaigen - 01-22-2010 Hi, Well I have 64bits support on CPU(CORE 2 DUO E8500 3,16 overclocked to 3,8Ghz). Now I'm running W7 on 32bits and I have the 64 bits for install. But i have a trouble, I really go to enjoy a REAL change from 32bits to 64bits? (faster, better...). Migrate to 64bits will really speed up my PC?? Thanks for advance RE: Migrate from 7 of 32bits to 64? I will have a REAL change? - thanasis2028 - 01-23-2010 Yeah, x64 is indeed faster. I am using Windows 7 x64 and they are very fast. However, this depends a lot on your RAM. If you have more than 4GB of RAM, then changing to x64 is certainly recommended. Notice that some things won't work well on x64 systems. For example Flash Player doesn't work for x64 Internet Explorer, although that's not a problem for me because I never use IE. RE: Migrate from 7 of 32bits to 64? I will have a REAL change? - Extasey - 01-24-2010 To be honest, I don't notice a difference. Besides not being able to use flash in IE64bit. Don't pay for it if you haven't purchased it already. It's too much hastle to be honest. RE: Migrate from 7 of 32bits to 64?
