A Problem Burning To DvD - Mozz - 12-17-2009 I have bin burning disks for over a few months now, data + Movies etc... For some reason when i burn a disk now it will not acctually copy to the disk, say for instance: I run ConvertXToDvD, convert a avi file insert a disk and click burn, it will say its burning and the disk is spinning and it ejects as normal, but when look at the disk theres nothing on them at all. I have evan looked at the disk itself and can clearly see in daylight that nothing has copyed to the disk. It used to work well on Asda's own brand disks, now i do not no if its the new disks i got but they seem like decent disks: "Datawrite 4.7GB General Purpose DvD+R" My CD/DvD drive can read disks no problem but just cant burn? Any help will be great thanks RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - WMM - 12-17-2009 Answer these questions please: Did you install any new drivers? Did you mess around inside your computer, maybe you knocked something loose? If you did not do any of those you either have a bad burner, and or bad disk. RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - Mozz - 12-18-2009 yea i put windows xp over vista, and got new drivers. No inside my laptop is fine i look after it, evan though i have give it a clean i no what im doing. You got any sussegtions m8 ? RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - WMM - 12-18-2009 Well, have you tried using more then one burner? I mean maybe if you using Vista to burn its not working. RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - 4u111 - 12-18-2009 Is this the first time you use DVD+R? For me, when i use DVD+R, convertxtodvd will copy it but wont work on tv unless i burn it on DVD-R. RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - Mozz - 12-19-2009 Yea DVD+R is what ive allways used, the new disks are just a diffrent brand m8 RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - MarkW7 - 12-29-2009 Will it burn normal files via another program such as ImgBurn? RE: A Problem Burning To DvD - thanasis2028 - 12-30-2009 Try burning something with another tool, or with the tool of Windows Vista(just copy-paste on the DVD and then a popup will appear in the system tray prompting you to burn these files). |
