My Build - Please Review - Rofl - 12-13-2009
Hey all,
I am building a gaming rig for Christmas so I thought I'd share the parts I will be ordering in the next day or so. My budget was around 1 grand so I tried to cut back on the things I could upgrade later (graphics card, hard disk). Anyway, thanks for stopping by and any suggestions you have I would like to hear.

I'm also getting a RAZER Lycosa keyboard. Any suggestions on other accessories such as a monitor, mouse, and headset are also appreciated.

Well, I personally like the 25" LG LCD computer monitor. I have that one. Its amazing.

I would swap out the RAM with these in my opinion.
Also, you can run that build easily with a 750W and possibly even a 650W PSU.
You're missing a cooler for your CPU, unless you're going to use the stock one which comes with the CPU, which I don't recommend at all. If you're looking for air cooling, I would suggest this. It's cheap yet very effective.
Other than that, looks good. I have that same case, it's awesome.

Thanks for the links dude. I'm liking the look of the CPU cooler, but the RAM is triple channel, and I didn't think that AMD could run triple channel at full speeds. I could be wrong though, I'll check up on it. Thanks again.

Oops, yeah. You are right with the RAM, the mobo only supports dual channel. Sorry about that!

Very Nice! But I think you would have gone further with a Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad...
