Question about AdSense. - Elektrisk - 12-08-2009

Hello.
I'm writing a webpage, and might want to use AdSense ads on it to get some extra money. Well, I had planned to write the page in xHTML Transitional, but it appears the AdSense code isn't compatible with xHTML. So, should I just write it in HTML, or should I try to incorporate these work arounds that exist so it can work? I don't want to risk my account being closed.

My site - http://www.your-free-iphone-3gs.com has adsense on and validates fine as XHTML

Have a look here: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.your-free-iphone-3gs.com&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

What's the code you're placing and the error you're getting. You just may need to add some comment tags.

I haven't made an AdSense account, and my webpage is not live yet. I'm just trying to figure out what service, if at all, I'll want to use, and Google AdSense seemed to be the most obvious choice. The reason I'm thinking that it won't be XHTML standard compliant is because of the reasons outlined here.

As of September 2007.....

Seriously though, I've never had issues validating my sites that I've designed, at least within the past 8-12 months.

Do you use XHTML and AdSensE?

Of course. XHTML is the way the web is going. Heck, IE is almost supporting it now ;)

So your XHTML validates with Google Adsenses' ad codes?

Yes it will. You have seen above that mine does no problems!
