iMac?? - iLegendary - 12-04-2009 Hi guys, im thinking of buying an iMac. Im going to use it for design & gaming sometimes. Ive heard that u cant play counter-strike source on it? Is there a solution for it? I thought of the one, 21,5" with 1TB HDD. RE: iMac?? - Omniscient - 12-04-2009 You would have to run emulation. It used to be a pain in the ass but virtualization has come a long way. RE: iMac?? - iLegendary - 12-04-2009 Ok, what do you recommend? PC or iMac for what i'm going to use it for? RE: iMac?? - iLegendary - 12-05-2009 Bump ..................... RE: iMac?? - manipulate - 12-05-2009 iMac definitely wins for design, and Windows 7 runs perfectly on it for whenever you want to game. RE: iMac?? - iLegendary - 12-06-2009 Thats what i thought! But im worried about the video/graphic card on the 21,5" one(the 2nd, expensive one of em)? Is it good enuf? Ive never used ATI RE: iMac?? - manipulate - 12-06-2009 I'm pretty sure they ship then with nVidia cards if you want, I suggest you Google the card for reviews.etc RE: iMac?? - iLegendary - 12-06-2009 Tryed, also asked in stores etc. I think I'll buy a gaming desktop on Tigerdirect instead, just to be sure for both design & gaming.
