I use it as my text editor of choice and I do all my coding and text document manipulation with it.

Yes, notepad++ helps a lot, you should get it. It's not only useful, it's helpful too.

Yeah it's brilliant, simple to use yet feature rich. Has lots of cool little features like going to the closing brace, saves you having to try and find it.

I use it sometimes for my coding...But I do prefer Aptana as my default editor, especially PHP because it debugs.

Notepad++ is the best for just about everything IMO.
