[TUT] Animated Custom Shape in Photoshop - zone - 11-09-2009

CTRL + N to make a new file. Mien is 400 x 50 px. Background Transparent

Write your name, I wrote Support Forums

Layer > Rastrize > Layer

Blend your text, add colors to it. I blend this text as shown in the screenshots.

Now make a new layer

Select custom shape tool and make your shape on that layer. I make an heart and adjust its settings as shown in the screenshot.

Select opacity of the custom shape to 75

Now press CTRL + SHIFT + M to jump to Adobe Image Ready.

Press Duplicates Current Frame to duplicate the current frame.

Select Move Tool

Pick heart custom shape from the frame and drag to the right. Like as shown in the screenshot

Now select both frames and press Tween Animation Button and adjust the settings as shown in the screenshot.

For more enhancement, select the last frame (17th frame) and duplicates it, select Custom Shape from Layers Palet, and change its opacity to 50. Now again duplicates the last frame (18th frame), select its custom shape and change its opacity to 25. Repeat the same procedure again.

Now save the image by Save Optimized as.

FINAL IMAGE:

Yes. Actually you can customize it to your own liking. In this tutorial I just used a simplest form of blending and editing. If you know photoshop well then you can make this in a variety of ways.

...yet all you managed to do with your current signature is put text on it (of which was given to you also)?

Why wouldn't you just click window > animation then do it from there? You don't have to jump out of PS at all!
...What version of PhotoShop are you using?

My photoshop version is 7. And for Jump to Adobe Image Ready, you have to jump to this otherwise how you could make an animation without using Image ready? :|

Don't use outer glow on gifs. As you see, they ruine the pic.
