I'm concerned. - Dolan. - 08-11-2012 Okay here's the story: I'm 15 years old and I can't stand the taste and texture of fruit and vegetables. I've practically gone my entire life without eating them. I know that I need them for vitamins and all that but I just can't bring myself to eat them. Do you guys know how I can fix this problem and set my diet straight? RE: I'm concerned. - Mikey - 08-11-2012 One worst thing to do is forcing yourself. Try first with fruit like apples strawberries they are sweet but also good for you (1 of your 5 a day). Then try some other vegetables. RE: I'm concerned. - Renowned - 08-11-2012 Try and get yourself to slowly eat them, there's no point forcing yourself. Try and find a fruit/vegetable that you like. Maybe like a banana, strawberry or apple.. Then try and find some veg like broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, beans or anything along those lines. Everyone has a fruit/veg they like.. You just need to find it. RE: I'm concerned. - Sora - 08-17-2012 You could always make a protein shake with some fruits or vegetables in it. Substituting stuff for a shake isn't going to help at all. Waiter: "Would you like vegetables or a salad side for your meal?" Me: "Just a protein shake" I can't skip the meals my parents make and just say I'm going to have a shitty tasting shake even though you've spent the last hour or so cooking. |
