Oh hi der
It's my spring break. Time to waste all my time online.
It's been quite fun.
Once school starts I'm screwed.
I didn't even do a page of y Spring Break homework.
I know it sucks. Homework on break.
I gotta do it though.

What is "Spring Break"?? I hear about it all the time on American films.. Is it just like time off school?? Like how in England we have the Summer holidays?

We have a Summer holidays (3 months), autumn holidays (1 week), winter vacation (1 month) and spring break (1 week).

Is there any particular reason why Spring Break seems so popular then? Like I said before, it's all you ever hear about in American teen movies, so I'm just curious as to why it's so big over there. I'm guessing your Spring Break would be like our Easter Holidays, although we get 2 weeks rather than just the 1.

We have a lot of breaks in Holland actually. But yeah, Spring Break (Called May Break over here) will be in three weeks. Sooo looking forward to it, my friend's parents won't be home for a week, so crap's gonna go crazy over there! FCK YEAH!
