So many hosting sites - DAMINKā¢ - 03-04-2012 Whats with everyone trying to be a host now days? Apart from the obvious i mean... Quick attempt at a money grab. Seriously have we not reached saturation point yet lol? The think that is ultimately bad here is there are so many throw away hosting services now days you really cant trust many of them. I personally would never buy a hosting package from anyone apart from a reputable company with a proven record. Sure generally it costs a bit more but the reliability is worth it. So whats your views SF? To many throw away resellers? The more competition the cheaper it is so win win? RE: So many hosting sites - ///ViNcE - 03-05-2012 I know what you mean &I I'm starting one myself. That's what I want to do is start one that'll be reliability but not only provide that. I want to expand with everything. I honestly like the cheap beacuase it's a point to start off & they are reliable. RE: So many hosting sites - Eruditus - 03-06-2012 It's annoying, and the imbecilic claims they make too. I have no idea why it isn't saturated to be honest. ^^ RE: So many hosting sites - BlackChaos - 03-06-2012 To be honest, I don't really consider a company as reliable unless they've been hosting continuously for over a year and I've seen proven accounts and vouches by people I know. RE: So many hosting sites - BreShiE - 03-06-2012 It does get quite annoying, but it never gets old seeing people make a fool of themselves as they don't know the first thing about hosting. RE: So many hosting sites - Starbreak - 03-07-2012 It's because VPS's are so cheap nowadays. Lots of people want to get into the hosting business, and make a quick buck, not with quality service, but with good advertising. |
