1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Inventor - 11-03-2011 Hello all, Here is my most recent Blender creation, a 1957 Ford Ranchero. The first image is the Blender render without a background. The second image is the truck with a scene that I got from the web, and edited. Please tell me what you think! Inventor RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Fragma - 11-03-2011 The front wheel area looks a little off to me. Also the headlights stick out a bit too much. The rims look rushed. Also I think you need to redo the textures. They look a little unrealistic. Other than that though it looks pretty decent. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Party - 11-03-2011 The wheel are off a bit and the rims loook bad. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Inventor - 11-03-2011 Just to tell you all, I did it in about one half a hour ;) Thanks for the tips fragma. Which textures? I the second image was done in 8 minutes. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Fragma - 11-04-2011 The materials aren't great. They make the car looks quite plastic and toy-like. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Inventor - 11-04-2011 Yup, I haven't worked much on them yet ;) I was moddeling it after a toy truck anyway Would you suggest to lower the mirror and increase the specularity hardness? RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - BreShiE - 11-04-2011 I like the second picture, but the first one makes it look too unrealistic. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Fragma - 11-04-2011 The specular is what's making it look plastic. Take the specular off and try using a fresnel reflection. Set the brightness to 3% and the strength to 15%. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - Inventor - 11-04-2011 (11-04-2011, 08:37 AM)Fragma Wrote: The specular is what's making it look plastic. RE: 1957 Ford Truck made in blender - prince of persia - 11-06-2011 How long did this take to make? Even though it looks like its something simple I bet it took forever. You should make a nice racing car. |
