[TUT] How to put your iDevice into Recovery/DFU/Pwned DFU Mode - D3xus - 11-03-2011

Before I start, you have to know your history ;)
Recovery:
Looks like this:

You are locked out of your device and the only option is to restore your device to stock firmware or custom firmware.
DFU:
Damn I fudged Up mode; iTunes percieves your device as in recovery mode, but the device's screen does not display anything.
Pwned DFU:
Read above: same as DFU mode except it is a special type of DFU mode for upgrading/downgrading to custom firmwares created by sn0wbreeze, PwnageTool or redsn0w.

Are we ready? Let's go.
HOW TO GET INTO RECOVERY MODE: (APPLIES TO ALL DEVICES)
  1. Disconnect your device from your computer if it currentely is, but leave a USB wire connected to your computer. Do not connect your device.
  2. Hold the lock button on your device until you see a red 'Slide to Power Off' slide across the top of your device.
  3. Wait until the loader appears on your screen, then disappears and your device's screen goes blank.
  4. Hold the home button on your device, then connect your device to the computer with an iTunes USB wire.
  5. Hold the home button until you see the Recovery Mode screen and iTunes comes up saying the device is in Recovery Mode.
  6. Done Thumbsup
HOW TO GET INTO RECOVERY MODE WITH LIMERA1N: (APPLIES TO ALL DEVICES EXCEPT IPHONE 4S, IPAD 2G AND ITOUCH 4GS.)
  1. Conect your device to iTunes.
  2. Download the limera1n jailbreak from http://limera1n.com
  3. Open the tool from where it was downloaded to.
  4. Click the 'make it ra1n' button.
  5. Wait for it...
  6. Done Thumbsup
HOW TO GET INTO DFU MODE: (APPLIES TO ALL DEVICES)
  1. Using the above guides, place your device into recovery mode.
  2. Confirm your device is connected to iTunes.
  3. Hold the Lock button and Home button on your device at the same time.
  4. When your computer de-recognizes or when iTunes does not see your device anymore, release the lock button but continue to hold the home button for 30 seconds, or until your computer recognizes the device in DFU mode.
  5. Done Thumbsup
HOW TO GET INTO PWNED DFU MODE: (APPLIES TO ALL DEVICES EXCEPT IPAD 2, IPHONE 4S & ITOUCH 4GS.)
  1. Download the iReb tool, located here: http://www.multiupload.com/GVHNJSRU4F
  2. Put your device into Recovery Mode, then DFU Mode in respective order using the above guides.
  3. Open the iReb tool.
  4. Select the device you are currently using in DFU Mode; I.E if you have an iPhone 3GS in DFU mode, select the iPhone 3GS button.
  5. Wait for iReb to recognize your device in DFU mode

Steps to Put Your iPhone/iPad/iPod into DFU Mode
Step 1 : Launch iTunes and connect your iPhone to your Windows PC or MAC.

If your not able to follow these 4 things no illicit sex, no gambling, no drugs, no meat-eating then don,t worry but chanting of this holy name ( Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra ) is very-very and very important.

Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare " and be happy.

if you still don,t believe on me then chant any other name for 5 Min's and chant this holy name for 5 Min's and you will see effect. i promise you it works And chanting at least 16 rounds ( each round of 108 beads ) of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily.
