The Merchants
- Do you stay up late every night browsing through forum marketplaces and monetizing forums looking for the next way to score big bucks?
- Do you rush home from school or work everyday to get on the computer and check your emails, private messages, sales threads, auctions or other monetizing events?
- Do your friends and family think of you as the 'go-to guy' for all of their entrepreneurial/business help?
If you are/do any of the above mentioned, you know that you are a MERCHANT!

The Merchants Requirements/Laws:
- 50+ Posts
- Your warning level may be no greater than 10%
- You must maintain a positive reputation
- Must be an active member in the Marketplace
- Must have decent grammar
- Must not have any scam reports
- If accepted, you must mention the group's name somewhere visible to all members on your account.

How to get Promoted
- Refer users to join the merchants.
- Release tutorials/threads under The Merchants (Use our name in the OP)
- Get a referral from a higher ranking Merchant.
- Contribute ideas to to the Merchants.
- Once you have done any of these, send a PM to Chocothunda, and your performance will be reviewed.

I don't want to join, but those other questions were actually very good.

There is no rule stating you can't create an unofficial group though. Omniscient and I discussed it and he said it is alright.

All groups are unofficial in this area until they become real groups on the UserCP anyway. Why don't we just let everyone on the forum create groups then? Could you imagine how chaotic this area of the forum would be if we did that? That's why there's a requirement in place.
