I have a gym membership, I'm looking for some good exercises, and maybe a nutrition plan. Rippetoe's the best way for beginners. RE: Good way to gain Upper Body Strength? - masterfan - 08-14-2011 Push ups and pull ups.But not regular ones, make a variation of them.I do 10 push ups then stand up and immideatly go back to push up place and do 9 push ups then stand up and again 8 push ups.Everything this untill im done to one.Try it.That last push up(1) is gonna be the hardest one lol. Here's also good way to practice for upper strenght. It's my video and I'm training every day.I can remember a while ago I wasn't even able to do a planche tuck. Now Im able to do a planche tuck to a handstand and back to tuck and handstand. It takes time and practice!
