Securing a MyBB forum - i Slap Kidz - 10-23-2009 Sup, So I setup a subforum for my site (Non hacking/tech related) and installed MyBB. I got the hang of everything so far but to those that have experience with mybb what are some extra ways to secure the forum? And also any plugins I should avoid? I'll be looking on myBB site aswell Thanks RE: Securing a MyBB forum - MattR - 10-23-2009 http://community.mybboard.net/thread-9991.html (plug) http://mattrogowski.co.uk/2009/06/24/mybb-forum-security-and-what-to-do-when-hacked/ Should get you going. Can't really think of any plugins to avoid, if the author is trusted you should be fine. RE: Securing a MyBB forum - i Slap Kidz - 10-23-2009 Thanks! Thats exactly what I was looking for !!! |
