Sensor Bar For WII... - Alpha Geek - 07-22-2011

Every time I try to use my Wii, the Sensor Bar seems to have trouble picking up the signal from the remote.

Is there something I can do to help it pick up the signal better?

Some Info about the Wii:
The sensor bar works when it wants to.
I recently bought the Wii off of eBay.
Everything else works fine accept for the Sensor Bar.

Try better batteries? I hate Wiis so much, just give up.

As long as you have a good, clean connection to the sensor bar, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Are you standing an appropriate distance from the bar? Where is it placed?
If nothing else, you can try borrowing one from a friend or buying a new one:

I bought a new one, should be coming in the mail anytime now.

I have it on top of the TV, It's about waist high. And I was standing about 5 maybe 6 feet away.

I could borrow a friends and see if it works.

I'll update as to if I can get it to work properly whenever I get the chance.

Thank you for posting Smile

I just put new batteries in. And I wanted to have another system instead of just a PS3. I figured a Wii would be the best 2nd choice because if I get the right games I could become more active while playing video games Big Grin

Hmm...I don't know...maybe it's your "Wiimote"?

Hope your problem is solved, sir.

Are your batteries full in the remote and is your Wii updated to the latest firmware?

Cant you buy a new sensor buy? Or test out another one from your friends or something, if that fixes it. You will need a new one.
