Botkillers? - Deceive - 07-19-2011 I'm new to the whole Whitehat scene but does anyone know of any really good botkillers? I was recently infected with the famous "AryoN Bot", and I had the creator of it help me delete it (He didn't know who I was atm). Now I just want to make sure it's not there. He has me download "Element.exe and Mod.exe" to delete it but I want to make sure it's gone for good (Not that I don't trust him, I'm just a little sketched out). Please let me know how to get rid of the AryoN bot. RE: Botkillers? - FISH - 07-19-2011 Thats weird did you delete the mod.exe and element.exe after? I've been scanning my computer since I suspected an infection so eventually it will all be deleted. But I was just wondering if there was a version of a botkiller kinda similar to Anti-Malware. RE: Botkillers? - Drakon - 07-20-2011 Download Malwarebytes and do a full scan, investigate and kill any unwanted process(tip: google processes) Also remove those process from startup. |
