Xbox, PS3 or Nintendo? - mac - 07-19-2011
My son (10 years old) uses PSP for about 3 years and plays more of cricket and soccer in psp. I wanted to get my daughter (6 years old) a gaming console. Can anyone suggest me which is best (Xbox, PS3 or Nintendo Wii) for kids aged 6 to 10 years? Of course everone else will also play

Definitely go with the Wii! She'll love Wii sports, the Wii is also great for the whole family, it is a lot of fun and very interactive, especially for little kids. For your son, you can buy Mario, that is also fun. I'm sure you'll have some fun playing it as well.

You told us her age was 6-10. I think a Nintendo Wii is the best. But if you go better i think Playstation 3 is good. But just not for kids and girls. Of course you can get some girl games or so.

What ever you get her don't get her a Xbox with Live because there's so many people who swear and trash talk which wont be great for a 6 year old.

A Wii, PS3 and Xbox users have too much of naughty mouths. You don't want your daughter cussed at or flamed.
A Wii is also fun anyway.

For children of that age, definitely the wii ! Things like wii sports should keep the kids entertained for hours. And the best part is Adults such as yourself can join in as well and will be able to enjoy it just as much. The wii is also pretty reasonably priced nowadays.
