[Poem] Rhythm of the Heart - Metapod - 04-28-2011
Inspired by BlackChaos' poem Why I Wrote This
Why you ask.
Tell me why, you say.
I cannot. I never shall.
For he answer is not made of words,
But of beats, like drums.
My heart has the answer that has no words.
You cannot hear those steady beats,
Screaming your name.
You ask why I stay by you.
Why I fight for you.
Perhaps if you listened once again,
You would hear my answer.
Hold my hand, once again,
And we can dance to the rhythm.
