Picture Frame WIP - Untouch - 04-12-2011 Spoiler (Click to View) I randomly made this by messing with the gui I made yesterday. Firstly the hearts picture was not my pick of a background it was my sisters! lol I will be adding some kind of texture to the main frame. Also will try and make the splatter look more real by using some bevel / emboss setting. I was thinking about releasing this as a template when finished. RE: Picture Frame WIP - Untouch - 04-14-2011 Thanks for all the great feedback! Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Picture Frame WIP - AceInfinity - 04-14-2011 Too much of the dodge tool was used on the border's edge, it looks too bright, and too dark, that should be toned down a bit. Maybe make the black a little lighter instead (darker grey) and darken the white spots where you used the dodge tool to a really light grey. They are too contrasted for the effect that you tried to achieve there. RE: Picture Frame WIP - Untouch - 04-14-2011 I never used the dodge tool.lol Are you talking about the metal edge effect or the turquoise part of the border? It's around 1px all the way around, and it has a black to white gradient visual in some parts on the top and bottom. RE: Picture Frame WIP - Untouch - 04-14-2011 Yup just a gradient used to make it look metallic. RE: Picture Frame WIP - Leafs - 04-14-2011 I actually really like that!!! Keep up the great work and keep going with graphics. |
