Overclocking - Splodge0007 - 04-07-2011

Does anybody have a rather in-depth OC guide? Personally when I up my voltage up a slight bit and up my bus speed by about 10 then reboot, I'm stable for about 10 minutes until I BSOD. It's odd because It's only a ~300mhz increase OC per 10 on the bus clock.

My components are :
Intel i7 860 @ 2.8 (Turbo mode on, which adds an extra multiplier, so I'm at 3.08)
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3

I've never really overclocked before, so any help is appreciated. I mean, I know the basic concepts and how to do it. It's just I'd like a nice in-depth guide that one of you have found helpful.

Thanks.

Is there any tutorials for a 2600K?

Do you know your Bus speeds? Do you still need help.

RE: Overclocking - Splodge0007 - 04-15-2011

Yes Sam. Current at 140 on the bus speed. I recently went back to try again. I upped my voltage a slight tad and upped the bus speed to 150. I booted up fine without any issues, however within around 10 minutes I was faced with a BSOD.

I really do not understand quite what I'm doing wrong.
