[Life Support] Bumping Old Thread? - Metapod - 04-07-2011

Seeing as how peoples' situations in Life Support can extend over a period of time, is there a time limit (approximate) where it would be considered "bumping" an old thread? I mean using common sense posts and actually supporting the person, not a LQ post.

This has been mentioned a lot lately.

I think the general opinion on the matter is as long as the post is HQ, and there is fair reasoning behind bumping an old thread, then it's perfectly fine.
