Apple support - Solitary - 03-17-2011 Me and my buddy have started a forum revolving around apple product support such as iphones, ipads etc. We are a new forum currently just trying to get on our feet. We have mild traffic therefore we don't have much members or staff. If you join and wish to be staff please pm me on the website, my user: Hijk. If you would like to review this site please don't hesitate to do so and post your review below. The website: www.applesupportforums.net RE: Apple support - AceInfinity - 03-17-2011 I don't think it will be all that successful, since apple themselves has a forum for support that users usually go to anyway. Everyone with an apple product will be directed towards their forum and there's lots more content and help on the official forum as well. I agree 100%, http://www.apple.com/support/ People will go there before they go to your site buddy. RE: Apple support - Solitary - 03-17-2011 The site isn't just for apple support, We have plenty of other topics RE: Apple support - GrammarPhreak - 03-17-2011 (03-17-2011, 08:02 PM)Solitary Wrote: The site isn't just for apple support, We have plenty of other topics Explain a little in your thread buddy. RE: Apple support - AceInfinity - 03-17-2011 it looks down to me at the moment. And having apple support on your site is useless. It's just more topics on your forum that won't have barely any activity at all. A waste of space to be completely honest. You're main focus is on apple support though, indicated by your domain name. So how are users going to feel when they register to a site, that has a focus on apple support with the least amount of helpful information that apple doesn't already give, and then the side topics are the bigger more popular areas of your forum? That is really mixed up, and I really would honestly say that the forum won't be a success for that reason. It's going to be another general forum like SF, but with 'useless' information for apple support. Sorry to disappoint you RE: Apple support - GrammarPhreak - 03-17-2011 (03-17-2011, 08:10 PM)Infinity Wrote: it looks down to me at the moment. And having apple support on your site is useless. Down for me too. RE: Apple support - timestandstill - 03-19-2011 Down for me. Your domain is a little long though, especially considering Apple is a company all about simplicity. RE: Apple support - Crystal - 03-28-2011 DOwn for me too! RE: Apple support - Scalise - 03-28-2011 Yeah, I just use Apple's official forums. They're actually really helpful, they told me how to fix my itunes library the other day. Only took a day to get like 5 responses from veterans with 20k+ posts... More than I can say about Windows forums... |
