Most people out here are getting the droid, don't see too many people with the HTC. I would prefer the Droid, but the HTC is also really awesome. Very much similar to each other though,

I prefer the HTC, its slightly faster you me.. also i love the inbuilt weight feature to way out some stuff.. without the hassle of buying scales and carrying them around when you can do most of the stuff on the phone. HTC gets my vote.

Never really had a chance to mess with an HTC too much, but I have a Droid and I LOVE it.
