Reddit is your source for world news, endless humor, helpful insight, advice, etc. It is everything you'll ever need to be honest. Japan Earthquake? Posted within the hour it hit. Constantly updated with details, videos, etc. Reddit is where many memes originate and become popular besides 4chan.
If you sign-up you can pick what 'subreddits' appear on your homepage. Those are like categories. Things like this may interest you guys:
