I think it's logical to assume that he wants a code for people to put download links in. Just to tidy things up a bit more, but are you asking about this for a phpbb forum or a mybb forum? or something else?

I don't think that's possible. Neither do I think that anyone cares in what kind of box the download link is placed, code, quote, who cares?

That's true, I just used to ask members to place any links in the code tag if they wanted to link someone to something in a post. I didn't want any redirect-able links within the threads.
