lol I know lots of people on youtube do a subscribe for a subscribe service on their own, and end up with tons of subs that way. I don't really go looking for subs anymore, just whoever likes my videos, and they subscribe on their own.

All true, me and my friends just talked about this and we confirmed that people who ask for subs are looking for attention.

Attention meaning lots of different things though. Not always just personal attention. People do it for business, and other higher level reasons too
