Meadow. - Rhythm - 01-12-2011
Life is a meadow.
It is green and beautiful
birds circle often, and rest in trees
something new comes to the meadow
something the animals there have not seen
the meadow dies and the skies turn orange
the fruits on the trees slowly wilt
the birds that once flew there
have long since left
the meadow now turns red
what came to the meadow is there no longer
completely consumed
what was once a green meadow
is now black.
the sky reflects said black
until there is nothing.
