Blue Screen Issue - Peter L - 01-07-2011 I'm using Windows 7 and the computer is pretty new. Last night it just shutoff and it just did it again. Here is the error: Code: Problem signature: Any help? Do you have 64 bit Windows? Have you upgraded your driver lately? It might have been the cause of the crash. Edit: Open Task Manager and check if ntoskrnl.exe is running at the moment in the processes tab. RE: Blue Screen Issue - Bugsy - 01-10-2011 Start - type in Search box > MSCONFIG find at top > Right Click RUN AS ADMIN General Tab > check Diagnostic Start > APPLY > REBOOT Have you checked through the manufacturer website that you have the most upto date drivers? also i suggest if you dont already uninstall your security software and install Microsoft Security Essentials at least till this is resolved. reason is most AV softwares can cause bsod and MSE hasn't to date. so this would rule out one thing. As stated, some of these programs can cause a crash. As looking through the results, it suggest that it is a hardware/driver issue.
