RE: C section - Diabolic - 11-28-2010 There are not many coders yet on SF, I am a coder... But there is not many RE: C section - Skill - 11-28-2010 There's a C++ forum, which can be located HERE. Most people have been using this section to post C in for many months, I don't see why you can't continue to do so. Perhaps when more threads relating to C occur, Omniscient will change the forum name but for now, it's fine as it is. RE: C section - RANA - 11-28-2010 hmm i did not open c++ and thought that there is no c well as it is being used for c too then i will be there RE: C section - kidstand - 12-03-2010 By the way, I'd just like to add that Omniscient should change that to the C Programming Section, instead of C++. RE: C section - KoBE - 12-03-2010 haha, i laughed when i read "C section". The C++ section is probably your best bet. Why should he replace one with the other? The two are distinct enough to not fall under each other's heading, no matter what you call it. Yet they're similar enough that a single forum could house them. If anything Omni should merely make it more clear that the forum is appropriate for C discussions as well as C++. RE: C section - Solidus - 12-03-2010 C++ and C are nearly exactly the same. OOP is the main difference. RE: C section - RANA - 12-05-2010 well it should be c/c++ section. by convention c++ should have no c discussion. |
