Anti-social + more - Psychosis - 11-24-2010

Hey guys, so i am very anti - social i know most of my reason for it and i they are

Long Story (whole life preety much dulled down) ( i am 14)

so what do you guys think? why do you think i have those problems, and what do you think i can do to get over them.

My dad left my mom when i was 6 months old, she got together with my step-dad when i was about 1 year 6 months. they used to fight alot and every now and again he would hit hurt and he was a truck driver and she found out he cheated once but they are still together now. i seen what this hitting her / cheating on her did so i have vowed to never cheat / hit a girl and if i see a guy hit a girl to beat the living fudge out of him. I was about 11 when my step-sister who came down every other week who hated it lied to police and said my dad raped her. he went to jail and we spent a total of $30,000 + on a lawyer + bail.

I also went through a HUGE depression during this time untill i was about 13. i became very anti-social only talking to my already really close friends. i have 2 friends i have known since before i was 5 that i could talk do and there amazing friends never judge me etc, them + music is what kept me alive during this time. i also became fairly aggerssive, started listening to heavier music + learned how to play bass and started writing songs to keep my mind off everything.

I am now 14 and not depressed anymore, my dad is not in jail because he took a deal with my step-sisters mom that kept him out of jail now. my family is in debt because of the lawyer fees etc. my life is going preety good now i have made alot of good friends but i am still anti-social. i also have a problem going up to a girl i like and talking to her / asking her out. i think that this is mostly because i am scared i will hurt them like my step-dad did my mom when i was younger.

*also* my real dad refuses to see me although we live in the same town and also refuses to let me see my brother.

so what do you guys think? why do you think i have those problems, and what do you think i can do to get over them.

Look I myself have family issues, and went through something similar to what you did. I am not going to go into detail but here is how i dealt with it. Everything I have done throughout my life has been on my own, and I take credit for it, I do not let anyone steal the one thing I rightfully own away from me. Growing up like that forces you to become more independent because a child in specific a man needs a father figure in his life. I myself have a step-mother who I cannot stand. Now about the friends, look I was like that at one point but I grew out of it, but one thing you should know is if you can count your bestfriends on one hand you are considered lucky. I am not talking about friends that you see in school, say hi to and that's it, I'm talking about bestfriends who you tell everything too, etc. The one thing you need to always remember is that no one aside from yourself can judge you, your opinion on yourself is the only one that matters.

You're just the anti-social type of guy.
Nothing to do about that, but just going out there.

Same goes about the talking to a girl.
You've got balls, don't you? Well, just go and talk to whatever girl you want then.
Nothing anyone here could say would make it easier.

You can change, i used to be like that when i was younger. I think you should associate more with kids your own age at school and just go out get to know alot of people.

I do go out to concerts alot etc, i meet tons of people there but in the end there all older i dont get along with people my age to often my schools fool of people that constantly judge you on little mistakes and talk alotta crap etc so in the end i usualy feel like smashing one of there faces in....

Well theres nothing wrong with hanging out with older people, sometimes in school you cant let people control you if you need to lash out sometimes is the right thing to do never let anyone bully you.

what that guy says.. Im anti - social and i was like that since i can remember

just try ur best to talk with ppl .. and don't miss out stuff like partys so you can stay infront of the PC

At 14, most people are afraid to ask out a girl etc...

It gets better as you grow older, once you figure out what you want.

Ah I felt this way a few years back man, definitely not a good way to live life.
Try talking to a bunch of girls, make one a girlfriend. Be with her at all times you can possibly.

A girlfriend will just cause him pain in the long run, as they will eventually split up. I do not recommend a girlfriend.
