Apple Cinema Display on Hackintosh - Heli0s - 11-14-2010 Hello all. I've got a Apple HD Cinema display that I want to hook up to my soon-to-be-built hackintosh and I was wondering if I would run into any compatibility issues. I know these displays don't work when plugged into a regular PC (Most of the time, as far as I know...), and I was wondering if there's a specific type of graphics card I need for it to work. And when I say "work", I mean everything has to work. Not only the display, but I want the OS to recognize it as a HD display, and the power button on the display should be able to put the machine to sleep or shut it down. Any help is appreciated, Heli0s RE: Apple Cinema Display on Hackintosh - Heli0s - 11-15-2010 I did some research and uncovered that any graphics card manufactured with Nvidia chip sets should do the trick. Not sure, though. RE: Apple Cinema Display on Hackintosh - Heli0s - 11-24-2010 UPDATE: I used an EVGA GeForce 9500 GT and it works completely fine. Controls the computer through the power button and brightness buttons. RE: Apple Cinema Display on Hackintosh - Diabolic - 11-30-2010 Can I dual boot hackintosh on my netbook ?
