Desktop Vs Laptop - EXplore_System135 - 10-13-2009 Hey guys............ I wanna want to know which one is best for working experiment, Desktop or Laptop???????????? For me, Desktop = We can try Full Experiment and do whatever we want. Laptop = Best for Portability and make the work private. RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - cheeseburger - 10-13-2009 I'm currently on my desktop, I'm saving for a nice laptop, the laptop i have is junk. RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - EXplore_System135 - 10-13-2009 can you tell me what is the main advantages of laptop over desktop........ RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - TimK - 10-13-2009 Portability. That's all there is really. I find it convenient to have a laptop because I'm a college student and I bring it everywhere. Wireless networking is also a plus. Desktops are not portable but contain more power and memory, generally speaking. So, portability vs. power. That's the question your going to have to ask yourself. But most laptops can do almost the same as any decent desktop. RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - DAMINK™ - 10-13-2009 Desktops all the way imho. Sure lappys are cool for portablilty but its the little things. Battery life, cpu, ram, and the keyboard and mouse. Actually now i read back its most everything i prefer in a desktop pc . RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - EXplore_System135 - 10-13-2009 Portability vs Power............ Really good term for Laptop vs Desktop. RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - DAMINK™ - 10-13-2009 Not entirely accurate though. Apart from battery. Damn my mate has a lappy twice as powerful as my desktop. And my desktop runs better bwahahahahah. RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - EXplore_System135 - 10-13-2009 for you which is useful??????? RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - Stevensan - 10-13-2009 A laptop is better then a desktop, because it is smaller and uses less electricity. A laptop uses about 65 Watt. A desktop uses about 350 Watt. RE: Desktop Vs Laptop - Viciousness - 10-13-2009 Even if you're into high-end gaming you can get a laptop that will do the same thing most desktops can do. It's just going to cost you a bit more. At the end of the day a desktop is going to be more customizable (hardware) and cheaper, just not portable. |
