Severe threat for 10/23/10 - Xander - 10-23-2010

Once again, we have a severe weather outbreak possible for today.

I've marked the area we're most concerned about as of 12:00 EST.

Once again, if you're interested in watching some live streams, check out the following sites, although the storms may not fire up until later this afternoon around 3:00-4:00PM CST

OAK GROVE AND KEMP AROUND 410 PM CDT...
KAUFMAN...POST OAK BEND CITY AND OAK RIDGE AROUND 415 PM CDT...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOVE TO AN INTERIOR BATHROOM...CLOSET...OR HALLWAY ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING. COVER YOURSELF WITH BLANKETS...PILLOWS...OR A
MATTRESS FOR PROTECTION.

IN ADDITION TO TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY
WITH THIS STORM.

A LARGE hook echo is forming at this time, a tornado is highly likely given the current information on radar.
