2057 is a Discovery Channel television program hosted by theoretical physicist Michio Kaku.
It premiered on January 28, 2007 and attempts to predict what the world will be like in 50 years based on current trends.

Saw that. Yup, it's amazing where people think we'll be in 50 years. Would suck if we just got hit with recessions over and over again. Judging by the current budget shortfalls in many states, some places will definitely have a hard time catch up.
