Gadget's Running List of Helpful Hints for Shakespeare. - Gadget - 10-07-2010

Well since a lot of you are going into high school you'll be reading Shakespeare fairly soon. :3 Here are some things that helped me while reading his works.
  • Thither - There
  • Shall - Will
  • 'tis - it is
  • 'twas - it was
  • Thee - You
  • Thy/Thine - Your(s)
  • Thou - You
  • Doth - Do/Does
  • Ne're - Never
  • e'er - Never
  • O're - Over
  • Ere - Before

  • If it rhymes, it's important.

If you guys need any help just let me know. :3 I like Lit.

I'll update the list later. I have been stuffed with work. I need to get a moderator to fix my typo in the title as well.

Still stretched on time right now, so I can answer individual questions, but I don't have the time to write out a bunch of stuff. :p

I've read nearly every work by Shakespeare - I'm only missing Romeo and Juliet. lol
My favorite would either have to be Macbeth or Midsummer Nights Dream :]
