Omni. Where is all my awards? Or everyone elses for that matter?First i would like to ask for more awards.
Some silly ones. Fun ones if you like?
Perhaps even some that can be issued by staff and revoked?
Certainly an inactive type one would be really cool.
For example over 30 days with no activity then an automated award of inactivity. And then revoked when active.
Would stop some replies to old threads too?
That said i guess you could have an automated one for frequent activity too?
That also could be cool?
Just thought i would put the question out is all.

Automated and staff giving awards its quite impossible imo.
I mean, you have to have ACP access for awards.
But yeah, I think we have enuff awards right now. More awards equals more people trying to get them, which is annoying.

100% dont agree. I do not know a better coder for MyBB than Omni. But hey i await his reply.

Automated is easy. All back end. No staff needed.
The staff component well again its easy to add one component available to staff.
Opinion noted regardless.

Well, not impossible, but it would take hell lot of a time.
He has other things to code right now, like every plugin to 1.6
Getting things working as planned in myBB can be pain in the ass

There are alot of awards but it just doesn't seem like Omni is giving them out.
There are many people I feel deserve awards but havn't got any.

And agree. Sam should have a full bank of the damn things like a military man lmfao. But he should to reflect who he is.

But seriously yes mate. Some here are really deserved of them.
Its something that has slipped from importance IMHO.
Awards do say quite a bit about someone quickly for new users.
This is why i suggested staff having more control because members go off some times. (take me for example)
Dunno. Just S hit comes to mind now and again. Could be a bigger thing than this which i assume omni will see.
A MyBB mod that could work well. xperience for VB comes to mind as an example of an established award system that can do said things without too much trouble.
And i know Omni could. Not sure if he will. Certainly not sure if he has time. But could be a "to do" thing i think?

Yeh I do agree though there aren't that many awards that have been given out. There are so many high quality members who are without an award and that should be changed. (Yourself for example DAMINK).

When upgrading on HF for ub3r the award is auto given when the account is upgraded. So it can be done and I think this is a good idea.
