[Tut] How to Recover Any Profile In One Minute - Slug - 08-06-2010

★ Recover any profile any size in one minute ★

Why?:Some people have profiles which are big because of things like gamerscore and it takes them longer to recover there profile back and they want access to there profile quickly.
How does it work?:You recover enough of your profile to play games and such, and when your playing/online your xbox automatically is downloading the rest of your profile bit by bit.
Notes:This isn't my tutorial at all, I have re-written it to make it better and to avoid copying issues, I think it is very useful as many people have modded there gamerscore also you can find out how to download the necessary files below.

How To
  • Start to recover your account and save it on storage device in which you can access through your computer
  • Then when it says how many of your friends there are online turn your xbox off
  • Put your profile on your PC and open it in Modio
  • Open the profile in account tool (inside Modio) then click "extract from profile", then save it, then click "yes", then click "Decrypt"
  • Change "not finished recovering" to "online (normal)"
  • Then save the account
  • Then click "encrypt account", then click "inject into profile"
  • Then put the profile back on your storage device and sign in on it

Go to GameTuts (google it) to download Modio.

I thought you meant anyone's profile in a minute, I was kind of excited Tongue

I may link my friend to this, he has 80,000 gamerscore legitimately, takes him about 45 minutes to an hour to recover

Same here. My friend has over 80,000 and it took like an hour to download it. We had to do this 3 times. -.- I was not a happy bunny.

I never knew about this! I was also thinking the same thing as Swat was, about migrating any profile. Tongue

I'll keep this in mind next time my friend wants to recover his account to my HDD. He has about 40,000 gamerscore on his account.

Neat little trick.

Yeah, true true. I didn't really remember who posted it, and was about to say give credits when I realized that it could have been anyone. Didn't know it was actually you who made the tut, haha. Been using this on multiple accounts, works perfectly. Ill be sure to direct some friends towards this thread. xD
