Good guide, but it was annoying watching your laggy computer
Also, next time you should zoom to only where you're working so you don't have all the extra desktop showing and it's easier to see.

I tried GIMP before and I failed miserably so thanks for showing me and the others how to make graphics the right way.

There isn't really a "right way," I just do random stuff and never really practiced from tutorials.
