[Suggestion] C section? - John - 10-10-2009 There should be a section for C and if you're going to say there is: C++ is not C RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Akshay* - 10-10-2009 c is coverable in c++ section RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Code King - 10-10-2009 Maybe you should suggest a name change from C++ to C/C++ RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Grizzly - 10-10-2009 I say make the C++ Section a C, C++, and C# section. RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Vorfin - 10-10-2009 No, C# goes with .Net. It should be "C/C++" And "Visual Basic and the .NET Framework(Inc. C#" Everyone seems to forget that C# is more or less a more advanced VB.NET RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Grizzly - 10-10-2009 YEah, good point. I'm not much of a C# kind of guy, I'm against proprietary programming and closed source things I know enough about it to write lots of bugs and a program that doesn't really work lol. I'm a C++ guy. C# is kind of an offshoot of C++, but, since it requires .net framework (I believe) to run, it probably best belongs in a .net category. I agree with you there Vorfin. RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Code King - 10-10-2009 C# is NOTHING like C++, its Microsofts version of java. RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Grizzly - 10-10-2009 Which is an offshoot of c++...... RE: [Suggestion] C section? - Code King - 10-10-2009 No its not, check the syntax. Just because it has a C in it doesnt make it C based. Javascript has java in it yet has nothing to do with java. |
